Welcome to Pluto, an expert-led, personalized, and interactive AI audiobook platform (“Pluto”). These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) are a legal agreement between Pluto and you, the individual or entity accessing or using Pluto’s services (“Customer” or “User”). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

1.1 “Authorized Devices”
Devices, such as smartphones, tablets, desktops, or other systems, authorized to access and interact with Pluto’s platform and services.

1.2 “Content”
Includes, but is not limited to, audio recordings, text, graphics, feedback, files, and materials uploaded or created by the Customer within Pluto’s platform.

1.3 “Documentation”
User manuals, online help files, FAQs, or other materials that provide guidance on Pluto’s features, usage, and best practices.

1.4 “Services”
Refers to all offerings provided by Pluto, including but not limited to AI-driven audiobook services, personalized learning features, expert-led lessons, and any accompanying applications or updates.

1.5 “Order Form”
A document or online order specifying the subscription type, plan, pricing, and other specific terms agreed upon between Pluto and the Customer.

1.6 “User”
An individual authorized by the Customer to use Pluto’s services under the terms of this Agreement.

2. License and Access Rights

2.1 License to Use Services
Pluto grants the Customer and authorized Users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
(a) Use Pluto’s Services for personal, professional, or internal business use.
(b) Download and install Pluto’s mobile or desktop applications for access.

2.2 Account Creation and Security
To use Pluto’s Services, Users must create an account with accurate, up-to-date information. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Sharing or transferring accounts is strictly prohibited.

2.3 Prohibited Uses
Users agree not to:
(a) Copy, distribute, or resell Pluto’s Services without prior written consent.
(b) Interfere with the functionality of the platform, such as hacking or introducing harmful code.
(c) Violate intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, or patents.
(d) Use the platform for unlawful activities, such as spamming, phishing, or distributing malicious content.

2.4 Content Responsibility
Customers retain ownership of their Content but are responsible for ensuring it complies with all applicable laws and does not violate the rights of third parties. Pluto reserves the right to remove or suspend access to Content that breaches this Agreement.

3. Ownership and Intellectual Property

3.1 Pluto’s Ownership
Pluto owns all intellectual property related to its Services, including software, design, trademarks, and underlying technology. Use of the Services does not grant any ownership rights.

3.2 Customer’s Content
While Customers retain ownership of their uploaded or created Content, Pluto may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve its platform.

4. Platform Features

4.1 Customizable Learning
Pluto offers personalized AI audiobook experiences tailored to User preferences, goals, and areas of interest.

4.2 Interactive Features
Engage with digital AI clones of industry experts, enabling Q&A sessions, problem-solving, and actionable advice.

4.3 Offline Access
Users can download select Content for offline use, subject to specific terms and availability.

4.4 Data and Analytics
Pluto provides insights into User engagement, progress, and performance. Data is anonymized for analytics and reporting purposes.

5. Updates and Support

5.1 Platform Updates
Pluto regularly updates its platform to enhance security, performance, and features. Updates may occur automatically and may require Users to download the latest app version.

5.2 Support Services
Pluto offers dedicated customer support through the following channels:

  • Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (IST)

  • Turnaround Time: 1-2 business days for queries.

6. Fees and Payments

6.1 Subscription Plans
Access to Pluto’s Services is subject to subscription fees outlined in the Order Form or website. Plans may include free trials, monthly subscriptions, or annual memberships.

6.2 Billing and Renewal
Subscriptions are billed in advance, with automatic renewal unless canceled before the renewal date. Payment details must be accurate and updated to avoid service interruptions.

6.3 Refund Policy
Refund requests are considered only if submitted within 14 days of purchase and are subject to Pluto’s review. Refunds for partially used subscriptions are not guaranteed.

7. Privacy and Security

7.1 Privacy Policy
Pluto values User privacy and collects, uses, and stores data per its Privacy Policy, accessible at [Privacy Policy URL].

7.2 Security Measures
Pluto employs industry-standard security protocols to protect User data. However, no system is entirely secure, and Users are encouraged to safeguard their accounts.

8. Modifications to Terms

Pluto reserves the right to modify this Agreement at its discretion. Users will be notified of significant changes through email or in-platform notifications. Continued use after modifications indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Term and Termination

9.1 Term
This Agreement remains effective as long as the Customer has an active subscription or uses Pluto’s Services.

9.2 Termination by Customer
Customers may terminate their subscription at any time through their account settings.

9.3 Termination by Pluto
Pluto reserves the right to terminate accounts for breaches of this Agreement or misuse of the platform.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Delhi.
